Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
Put breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Add the ground turkey and mix them together
Mix everything together well
Form the mixture into meatballs that are about an inch across
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat
For about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned on all sides, add them to the pan
Take it out of the pan and set it aside
Put the chopped onion in the same pan and cook for about 5 minutes, until it gets soft
Add the marinara sauce to the pan with the onions
Bring to a low boil
Put the meatballs back in the pan with the sauce
Simmer them for 10 to 15 minutes, or until they are fully cooked
In the meantime, cook the spaghetti until its al dente according to the directions on the package
Drain it
Cook the spaghetti and put the turkey meatballs and sauce on top of it
Before you serve, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese
